Full product descriptionTaste Farmer’s Coconut Oil, which comes from the tropical Philippine islands. Amongst its important properties, you’ll find that it doesn’t oxidise, and thanks to its high saturated fat content, it’s highly resistant to burning.
It’s stable up to 200 °C, making it ideal for preparing hot meals. But it can also be used for cold cooking, given its ability to solidify at low temperatures, making it an important ingredient in chocolate desserts and raw pastries.
Production:
Production technology and the quality of the feedstock determine the resulting quality of the coconut oil. That’s exactly why we make a point that our coconut oils only come from pristinely pure nature. Farmer’s Coconut Oil comes from the production of small farmers in untouched regions of the Philippines, who don’t have enough funds to receive a “BIO” certification. The process of planting and processing the ingredients, however, meets 100% of the necessary criteria. The Coconut Oil is cold-pressed, thanks to which it preserves its A, C, and E vitamins as well as its beneficial fatty acids. Farmer’s Coconut Oil directly from small growers is a guarantee of high quality and traditional processing.
Use:
Cooking: Coconut oil is a great butter substitute for those with milk allergies. You can use it to replace butter when making mashed potatoes. It also works great with spicy and seasoned meals. This snow-white fat not only gives foods an exotic taste but also makes them easier to digest.
Baking: Do you like to bake? Try adding Farmer’s Coconut Oil to your recipe in place of butter or cooking oil. With Coconut Oil, your pastries will be deliciously soft and crispy. Coconut Oil also does great to supplement chocolate desserts. Use it to try making your own homemade Bounty bars.
Frying: Coconut doesn’t burn, making it ideal for frying and roasting. Use it to fry tasty crepes or pancakes.
Grilling: Add Coconut Oil to your grilling pastes and mixes. Our favourite grilling mix is made using coconut oil, Himalayan salt, and pinches of chopped lemongrass.
TIP: You will enjoy using a practical mug for fruit smoothies, iced coffee, and homemade lemonade, or using it to prepare a snack for a trip or to take to work.
