Fair-Trade Organic Raw Coconut Oil

taste of extra-virgin Coconut Oil from the tropical Philippine islands.
Fair-Trade Organic Raw Coconut Oil features a buttery structure and mildly sweet
flavour. Aside from its rich nutritional value and high quality, the oil also
boasts fantastic digestibility. You primarily enjoy using it for cold cooking,
where the most of its beneficial ingredients are preserved.

Origin and production:  Production technology and the
quality of the feedstock determine the resulting quality of the coconut oil.
That’s exactly why we make a point that our Organic Coconut Oils only come from
the pure regions of the tropical Philippine islands, where growing coconut palm
trees and oil production have a long-standing tradition.

Organic Raw Coconut Oil is made using the most eco-friendly manner, the
so-called “wet” method of handling organic-quality coconuts. The Coconut Oil is
processed within 90 minutes after the coconut is cut open, and during the entire
process, it’s never heated at temperatures higher than 42 °C. This helps the
Organic Raw Coconut Oil to preserve all the minerals, vitamins, and its natural,
gentle fragrance. This most eco-friendly method of extracting coconut oil
ensures the highest possible quality. Organic Raw Coconut Oil features the soft
and refreshing fragrance of fruit or grass, just like a freshly opened coconut.
The coconut aroma isn’t quite as distinct as that of virgin coconut oil. When
fully melted, it has a clear colour, like that of clean water. When solid, it
has a snow-white colour. Organic Raw Coconut Oil has received a Fair-Trade
certificate, which ensures fair dealing and fair remuneration of employees and
farmers throughout the entire trade chain.

“RAW” properties: “Raw” stands for all foods that don’t
undergo any heat treatment during the production process (cooking, drying,
baking, pasteurising, preserving, etc.). For a product to receive the “Raw”
indication, it cannot come in contact with temperatures higher than 42°C when
being processed. This condition must be kept during all partial phases of
processing the oil – obtaining the initial raw ingredients, pressing, packaging,
storage, and transport. Thanks to this step, all of the nutritional values are
preserved, no modification of the nutritional ingredients, minerals, or vitamins
is made, and these elements maintain the utmost absorbability and
bioavailability for the human organism.

Fair-Trade Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil is stable at high temperatures, and thanks to its high content of
saturated fatty acids, it doesn’t burn. That’s why it holds an important spot in

making desserts, given its ability to solidify at lower temperatures. Another of
its key properties is that it’s easily digestible, helps stimulate the
metabolism, and doesn’t contain cholesterol.

Coconut Oil does not burn. It’s also stable at temperatures up to 200 °C, making
it ideal for preparing hot meals. But it can also be used for cold cooking,
given its ability to solidify at low temperatures, making it an important

long-standing tradition. Organic Unscented Coconut Oil is made from dry coconut
pulps (copra), which are pressed at high temperatures. It then undergoes other
changes with the help of steaming and filtering in order to remove any
impurities and solid particles. Thanks to this processing method, we’re bringing
you 100% pure and high-quality coconut oil that is rich in lauric, caprylic, and
myristic acid.

Use:  

Cooking: Coconut oil is a great butter substitute for those
with milk allergies. You can use it instead of butter when making a roux base or
add it to soups and porridge. This snow-white fat makes food easier to
digest.

Baking: When making Christmas cookies, you can completely
replace butter with coconut oil. Coconut oil makes the cookies crispy and light.
It also works great as a binding agent for cheesecake crusts. All you need to do
is mix the cookies and coconut oil in a mixer. The oil is also amazing at baking
potatoes and vegetables in the oven at higher temperatures.

Frying: Coconut oil doesn’t burn, making it ideal for
