Ayurvedic Bath Salt is perfect for all skin types. In
particular, it’s effective when used against skin problems,
such as psoriasis, allergies, and eczema. The volcanic salt provides the skin
with important minerals, granting it better blood flow and lightly
toning it.

When used in a therapeutic bath, the salt soaks into the
skin, which is why you’re sure to appreciate it if you have varicose veins or
rheumatism. In smaller concentrations, it’s also ideal for relaxing
baths. It evokes a pleasant relieving sensation for both physical and
psychological exhaustion.

Production: 
Our natural volcanic Kala namak salt
comes from the Indian Himalayas. It’s mined from 250-million-year-old salt
deposits. Ayurvedic salt features a black-and-grey tone. Thanks to its high
content of magnesium, chloride, sulphur compounds, iron, hydrogen chloride, and
calcium, it has a sharp sulphurous aroma.

Uses: 

Therapeutic bath: Ayurvedic salt is particularly suited to
sulphurous bathes indicative of skin problems, foot pain, and joint conditions.
It improves blood flow in the skin and strengthens its defensive power. For a
warming sulphur bath, add 3 full tablespoons of salt to a drawn bath with a
temperature of 36 to 38 °C. The concentration can be increased as needed up to a
ratio of 1:100, i.e., 1 kg of salt per 100 litres of water. By following this
step, you’ll achieve an osmotic effect that leads to the elimination of harmful
substances from the body. This same phenomenon occurs, for example, by spending
time in the sea, where the concentration of salt in the water is higher than in
the body, and therefore, the body is able to excrete water alongside any harmful
substances.

TIP: When used in warm bathes, hydrogen sulphide is
released, which is known for its powerful odour reminiscent of boiled eggs. You
can reduce this pungent aroma by adding several drops of your favourite
essential oil or a teaspoon of Organic Lavender Oil PURITY VISION®. 

Relaxing bath: Create a wellness spa in your own home with
volcanic salt, which relieves tension in the muscles, aids their regeneration,
relieves stress, and provides you with a pleasant relaxing experience. Simply
pour 1 tablespoon of salt into a warm bath and let it dissolve. Add fragrant
herbs and essential oils to your bath to evoke your mind into complete
relaxation. You can alternate this procedure with another variation where you
soak in a bath with warm water for an hour. Then add a spoonful of Himalayan
salt and relax for another twenty minutes. You can support the effect of
relaxation with your favourite music, incense sticks, and lighted candles.
Regardless of which bath alternative you choose, you will have beautifully
smooth and supple skin once you get out.
